My visual arts work reflects this poem by Fernando Pessoa, because I have more souls than one, so I begin this small journey of a long journey, of pleasure, of feeling and of soul. In the 80s it was the discovery of pleasure in painting, body movement, associated with the band's music: Psychiatric hospital, industrial music linked to the industrial machine, to the power of the machine. This is how the automatism of dripping appears in my painting with a very strong and violent emotional charge, the use of a spatula when mixing different materials: pieces of glass, etc., years of experimentation, the discovery of informalism, expressionist abstraction and the Cobra movement. The 90s saw the discovery of crossed impulses through various trips abroad: the United States of America, Turkey and France. Then the importance of the oceans, the theme of Expo 98 in Lisbon. The use of wide color stain and support dimensions, large formats. The canvases have diverse influences, from the father of cubism, Paul Cézanne, to the king of cubism, Picasso, including the domain of color stains, greatly influenced by Miro and Catalan surrealism. The technique becomes mixed (oil+acrylic on canvas and screen printing), later latex is introduced as organic material in the paint mixture.
